My 4 month old has started to roll in his bassinet whilst sleeping. Is it ok for him to sleep on his tummy if he rolls there himself? Or should I roll him back to his starting position which would be me placing him on his back with his arms up? He looks comfortable, I’m just scared he will wake up and upset himself.

Hi, We've recently brought our baby home from NNU. She's approximately 38 weeks corrected. She's finding it very difficult to settle in a new environment, however is more content when swaddled with her arms up to allow for self soothing. Is arms up swaddling safe in this case?

My question is - is the Love to Dream Swaddle/sleeping bag with the arms on actually SIDS safe? Many people are using this thinking that it is but I can’t really find anything on your Rednose site that would say either way. I work in childcare and there is no real policy about this as long as it’s approved by Rednose. I do not feel comfortable using this if it does not comply although it has been left up to my own discretion.

Hi, I have seen at a baby store the M ije baby-head-rest. It is a shape memory foam headrest that is suppose to stop 'flat head syndrome'. https://www.babybunting.com.au/baby-head-rest-green.html Is it safe for a baby to sleep on? The product says it's suitable for a baby from 0-4 months old

My newborn rolls herself (while wrapped) into a side position while sleeping. Is this safe? Anything I can/should do to stop her (eg place small rolled towels on either side of her body in bassinet)?

My baby is 11 months old and has hypotonia and plagiocephaly. He wakes frequently at night when not "swaddled" or held. He has only just started rolling but is expected to roll more and more in the coming months. Is there a "safe" way to swaddled or nest him in bed so he can sleep better and with more support?

Hello, Is there somewhere which lists the best cot mattresses to buy for safety? Is there a brand that Red Nose recommends? Currently we have a moses basket from "Nature Baby" with the wool mattress, however I am worried it is too soft for safety. Hi there we are going on holidays to the uk for 45 days. I have been trying to find out safest ways for baby to sleep. Do you have any ideas? Most of the trip we will be with family in one place but then a week here and there.

I have a one week old baby and have been swaddling her in a Love to Dream Swaddle Up. Today when we put the suit on her during the day, it seemed that she rolled herself into her side. The Red Nose guidance is that infant wrapping must be stopped once a baby starts to roll, but I had always thought that babies only rolled from 2-3 months. Is it safe to continue wrapping the baby? Thanks
