My baby is 3 months old. She sleeps in a cot in our room in a safe baby sleep bag. Most of her play is tummy time. She is rolling back to front but is not rolling front to back. I put her to sleep on her back. She rolls onto her front. When I reposition her on her back, she rolls onto her stomach within a few minutes. I am spending hours and hours repositioning her until eventually I can't make myself stay awake any longer. What do I do?
I recently bought a replacement mattress from Clark Rubber for our bassinet (as we bought a second hand one). It was custom cut foam as the bassinet is an odd size. The foam is 5cm thick - is this a safe thickness for a bassinet mattress? Just wondering as its about double the thickness of the mattress that came in the bassinet.
Hi there, I am just setting up our bassinet and wanted to seek guidance around the use of a short lambswool rug under the fitted sheet as a waterproof protector. I see that this material is listed as not being recommended for safe sleeping, however it looks as if is the case if placed over the sheet? Can you please provide additional details regarding the use of lambswool and if this is not recommended at all, can you advise what waterproof sheet / option is preferred for placement under the fitted sheet? If an alternative waterproof sheet /option is to be used, can you also please confirm whether or not it can go over the whole mattress or just where the lower half of the babies body? Many thanks - Danielle
Hi. My son is 2 weeks away from turning one. I am wanting to put him in his own room to sleep (he is currently in our room in his cot). Do you have any tips or advice on how to do this safely? I am very anxious about leaving him in his own room but will have a monitor on him throughout the night so i can watch/hear him from my room.
Hi, I recently bought a portacot for my 3mth old that also has a bassinet you can attach. Is it safe to use a sheet over the mattress? I’ve tucked in a thin cotton sheet but it makes the mattress bulky and stick up in places which makes me uncomfortable. So I’m thinking of not using a sheet but then she’ll be sleeping straight on the plastic mattress. Is that an issue also?
