Hi there My 7.5 month old has started rolling back to front but still struggles with front to back and gets stuck. She has also started doing this in her sleep. Sometimes she cries out as she gets stuck but at others it seems like she would comfortably stay asleep on her tummy but I have been rolling her back anyway. Is this necessary or is it safe for her to sleep on her tummy now if she wants to?

My baby is 5 months and 10 days old. He's been sleeping in a travel cot in our bedroom per your recommendations, however he's started to wake up through the night when my husband or I move / get up to go to the bathroom / cough etc. My sleep consultant suggested it might be time to move him to his own room which I'd like to do, but wanted to check that it's safe to do so when he's not quite 6 months yet. He has no health issues and is strong and good at tummy time. We don't have any other risk factors (I don't smoke, we haven't been co-sleeping etc). Appreciate your guidance. Many thanks, Lauren

In an early childhood and education service, why must sleep mats be positioned away from the walls? Is this so children don't roll and get stuck or is there another reason?

Hi there, I am looking to transition my 20-month-old to a floor bed, however would like to get a double mattress as I generally need to settle him back to sleep and he sleeps better with me next to him. I am wanting to purchase a safe double mattress but not sure how I can determine whether an adult mattress is firm enough? I was actually wondering if the Koala foam mattresses are suitable.

Hi there I'm running family day care. If I have a baby around 18 months who has only 1 sleep during the day, Can an 18 months old sleep on are stretcher bed which sre used in long day care? Please advice me. Thanks

My 5 month old son has just started rolling and attempts to roll when in cot but is unable to roll all the way due to sleep suit stopping him as it is a 2.5tog which is quite thick. My questions is do I have to sleep him with his hands uncovered? His arms are out but he constantly sucks his thumb when hands are uncovered and this is keeping him awake. Also, when he rolls onto his stomach when he gets tired he will put his head down but not to the side and I am worried he will do this in the middle of the night, do you have any suggestions on how I can avoid this? Thank you

My baby is 5 weeks old and sleeps in a love to dream “wing suit” he is such a wiggler and he always ends up sort of diagonally across his bassinet with his face very, very close to the side of the bassinet. My bassinet is massive, it’s almost twice the size of the standard bassinets. I’m worried he’s going to end up with his face hard up against it and is going to suffocate!
