What can I do to sleep my baby safely?

Hi there, First time mum expecting to have baby this December. I have pure cotton onesies that are without sleeves or pants. Do I dress baby in one of those and then wrap he/she in a muslin baby wrap? I'm so confused with how to dress baby for bed and what blankets to use for a newborn this summer.

My baby is 8 weeks old, and has sporadically from 4 weeks, tipped himself onto his side, but not able to roll further, but will sometimes be able to tip back onto his back. As a result, I have been advised to have his arms out when sleeping. I am trying to find a suitable sleeping suit / bag to purchase, and not sure which one. Am I understanding correctly that the sleep suits should not have zips or Velcro? The bonds wonderbundle has zips but it states on the bonds website that it is sids approved, so is it ok to use?

My kid has started to roll over to his tummy from lying on his back. He currently sleeps in a bassinet. He has not fully rolled over yet. We are worried is it safe if he rolls over completely during night after he is put to sleep and we are asleep. Will he go on to his tummy, have his nose pressed against the bassinet mattress and hence impeding his breathing? If he cries, we are awaken and put him back to his back. What if he doesn't? Any advise?

On your website, it states that safe sleeping bags can be used to prevent babies from rolling in their sleep. Which sleeping bags would you recommend? Also, what age is a baby likely to roll over? My baby is 8 weeks old, and has for some time been able to roll onto his side, but no further yet. When a baby is able to roll over but only to one side, and not back, what is the best sleeping suit to use? Are tucked in blankets are good preventative measure to stop baby from rolling?

My son is 12months old and has always slept in a sleep swaddle/sleep suit. Last winter he was swaddled and I had blankets over him and tucked under his bassinet mattress to keep him warmer as per SIDS guidelines, however now he moves freely around his cot I am apprehensive to place a blanket over him for more warmth, but think it’s something he needs some nights. Would it be okay to do so now he’s 12m+?

Hello, When sleeping, my 9 week old baby will wriggle himself from the middle of the bassinet to end up laying diagonally with his face against the bassinet wall. When I put him in the bassinet I place him in the centre but within 5 minutes he wriggles and is unsettled until he puts his forehead and tip of his nose against the bassinet wall. No matter how many times I move him back to the centre he just keeps on finding the wall again. I have a SnuzPod 4 bassinet. What can I do to stop this as it makes me worry?

Hi, my baby is a very tall 5 month old. She is sleeping in a “euro” cot that is 60cm width and smaller than a standard Australian cot. She can almost reach both sides with her arms and has started to hit the cot bars with her hands in a repetitive motion. Is this a normal soothing gesture? Should we buy a larger cot?
