I’m finding my 3 1/2 month old is uncomfortable to lay down particularly after feeds. I have him up right on me to burp and he will fall asleep comfortably in this position or when walking in the pram which has a slight tilt. When I put him down flat he squirms and appears uncomfortable. I am aware nothing can go in the cot so is it ok to prop the cot up slightly at one end from the outside? Or something to put under the mattress to provide a slight incline?
I need some help/advice please! My 6MO has started sleeping face down literally face straight down on the mattress! She rolls over onto her tummy and can’t roll back yet. So she just stays there and her head slowly lowers to the mattress. I have tried to roll her back onto her back and even move her head to the side but she always wakes and cries when I do this. I have had next to no sleep the last 2 nights as I am worried she will suffocate being face down! Is there anything else I can do?
Hi I've started to put my 6.5month old to sleep in her cot during the day. Bassinet with me at night. I have noticed that because the cot is bigger she is free to roll onto her belly and finds this position comfortable to sleep. Do I need to roll her over? She confidently rolls from front to back and back to front.
In the safe sleep section you have advised "bunny rugs and blankets" should not be used for swaddling as it may lead to overheating. Could you please advise what a bunny rug is, I have purchased "Cotton Jersey Wraps" for my newborn, and concerned that these may be inappropriate for use (they measure 120x120cm). Thank you, Jas
